The Business Banking Desktop (BBD™) is an internet enabled system that fills the remaining gap in electronic banking. By sharing the customer desktop with the accounting system, BBD can automatically transmit transactions, access (and store) reports, and reformat reconcilement data.
In effect, The Business Banking Desktop is a secure conduit between the company’s systems and the bank’s office. It also retrieves internet-ready data such as Fed ABA numbers for wire transfer and ACH. This promotes “straight-through-processing" ensuring transaction completion. Automating the retrieval and reformatting of reconcilement data helps to keep the customer’s books in order.

BBD is an application platform that currently supports check fraud data delivery, wire transfer and report retrieval. Data can be extracted directly from accounting systems or from customer file directories. Patent pending technology warns when files store “in-the-clear” have been modified or otherwise tampered with.
The Business Banking Desktop and its resident applications are distributed via the bank’s web site. The installation is accomplished with one “click” of the customer’s mouse. Program updates are delivered whenever the application is started.
